As an effort to support the government, Department of Marine and Fisheries, Kepri Province, in order to realize effective management in TWP Timur Pulau Bintan, YEKR continues to coordinate with related partners from the government sector and private sector in Bintan Regency.

In the early trimester of 2023, several coordinations have been carried out including with BPSPL Padang Action Unit Tanjungpinang, Department of Tourism Bintan Regency, LKKPN Pekanbaru, Berakit Village, and Private Sector PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala (PT. BRC Lagoi).

To BPSPL Padang Action Unit Tanjungpinang, YEKR asked for socialization support and educational media related to conservation of protected animal species that can be applied in the management of TWP Timur Pulau Bintan. In addition, assistance with the involvement and capacity building of conservation groups in Bintan Regency.

A visit to Bintan Tourism Office in the form of support for the management of Dugong Beach Km.52 Trikora where the waters area have been designated as a rehabilitation zone within the Conservation Area zoning. If this can be utilized and managed optimally, it can increase benefits of economic value in tourism sector.

The last was a visit to private sector, PT BRC which is the management company of Lagoi tourism destination, was very well received by the Manager of Community Development Division and Manager of Health and Safety Environment. This meeting discussed programs that had been carried out by YEKR and PT.BRC as it generates ideas and initiate activities that could be harmonized in the future. One of them is an educational program or environmental education which is one of the main programs of PT. BRC. In addition, Lagoi tourists themselves are connoisseurs of tourism where some of the tourism activities offered are indeed activities within the Bintan conservation area. So this is a good moment to collaborate in supporting optimal and sustainable management for TWP Timur Pulau Bintan.
