The quality of the bamboo straws made has been recognized by several local and foreign countries. The manufacture and maintenance of straws is still done traditionally with human labor and without chemical preservatives. The bamboo resources taken are local products that grow in the forests of Bintan Island. Bamboo is a natural resource that is easily renewable and can be an alternative to straws. Lightweight and strong, bamboo straws are reusable, biodegradable without harming the environment, and do not contain any chemicals or dyes.
